At Riley Summers, we host and manage law firm websites to give our clients peace of mind, knowing their site is secure, fast and working as it should, with every detail in experienced hands. Each site runs in its own environment on premium managed hosting, protected by edge security and kept fast with dedicated page speed optimization. We handle updates, premium plugin licensing, form delivery and spam protection, cookie consent and privacy compliance, and review widgets where the site uses them, with time each month set aside for development, design or content changes when the firm requests them. Every change is logged, so the firm always knows who changed what and when. The firm owns its website outright, and hosting and ongoing care are billed as one flat monthly fee.

A Small Number of Sites, by Design
Riley Summers hosts a deliberately limited number of law firm websites. That's a choice, not a constraint: it means every site gets senior attention rather than a place in a ticket queue. When something needs doing, the firm deals directly with Mark Riley, who has spent more than 15 years architecting, building and launching websites for service businesses, most of them law firms.
What's Included in Website Hosting and Management
A dedicated environment
Each firm's site runs on its own, not on a shared network with other sites, so another site's problem can't become the firm's.
Security
Edge security that filters malicious traffic before it reaches the site, plus SSL on every page.
Page speed
Dedicated optimization to keep pages fast, with performance reviewed monthly.
Updates and premium plugins
Software kept current, with premium plugins licensed and covered by the fee.
Form delivery and spam protection
Form submissions delivered reliably to the right inboxes, with spam blocked before it reaches the firm.
Cookie consent and privacy
A cookie consent system configured for the firm's site and kept current.
Review widgets
For sites that display reviews, the firm's Google reviews widget kept running and up to date.
Activity logging and access
Every change recorded with who made it and when. If too many people have admin access, we tell the firm.
Monthly development time
Hosting plans commonly include two hours a month for development, design or content changes the firm requests, such as text updates, new lawyer bios or new photos. Hours don't roll over or accumulate. When a firm needs more, we work with it to get the job done. Requested changes go live without a separate approval step, so they're done rather than waiting in a queue.
If You Leave, You Leave With Everything
Many firms come to hosting decisions after a bad experience: a site held on an agency's shared network, files withheld, or months of back-and-forth just to get access. We work the other way. A firm can end hosting with 60 days' notice and receives its complete site files approximately two weeks before the notice period ends, so a new host has time to set the site up and test it before anything changes.
Moving Your Site, or Needing a Safe Place for It
Moving a site shouldn't put the firm's rankings or leads at risk. Most firms that come to us are moving from another provider, and some sites are tangled up in an agency's shared network, where they can't simply be copied out. We move each site into its own standalone environment, carrying over its pages, forms, tracking and redirects, and check that everything works before the switch is made, so rankings and incoming leads are protected through the move. Migration is a one-time fee, quoted based on the site and how it's currently set up.
We've also helped a number of firms with temporary hosting while they worked through difficult situations with other digital service providers. When a firm needs somewhere safe for its site quickly, shorter terms are available.
What We Usually Find on Law Firm Websites
Too many people with admin access
Former staff, past vendors and people nobody can identify still have admin access.
What we do instead
We review who has access, and tell the firm when too many people do.
Plugins out of date or licensed to someone else
Plugins haven't been updated, or premium ones are licensed to a former agency and stop receiving updates when it leaves.
What we do instead
Software kept current, with premium plugins properly licensed and covered by the fee.
Forms that quietly stopped working
A contact form stops working after an update, and leads are lost for days before anyone notices.
What we do instead
We test forms after plugin updates and any other changes to the site, so they keep delivering leads to the right inboxes.
Changes nobody can trace
Another vendor adds or changes something that breaks the site, such as a plugin that silently disabled the editor's save button, and no one is told.
What we do instead
Every change is logged with who made it and when, so problems can be traced and fixed.
Sites tied to an agency's network
The site sits on a shared network controlled by an agency, so it can't easily be moved or even copied.
What we do instead
We move each site into its own standalone environment that belongs to the firm.
Slow pages
Pages load slowly, especially on mobile, where most people searching for a lawyer are.
What we do instead
Dedicated page speed optimization, with performance reviewed monthly.
Gaps in privacy compliance
No cookie consent, or a disclaimer that refers to a privacy policy the site doesn't have.
What we do instead
A cookie consent system configured for the site, and gaps in privacy pages flagged for the firm.
Call tracking accounts left open
Tracking numbers on the site still run through a former agency's call tracking account, so the firm doesn't control its numbers or its call data.
What we do instead
We review every tracking number on the site and help move the accounts into the firm's name, closing the ones that are no longer needed.
