Google rolled out AI Overviews broadly in the U.S. (May 14, 2024) and has continued expanding AI search experiences since then. For comparison purposes, since the introduction of AI Overviews in Google search, we have seen an overall decrease in traditional organic traffic of approximately 20%. Most of the topics affected by this traffic decline are from blogs and more specifically, those that are not directly and specifically related to the core business of clients (but where the once was considerable traffic/opportunity).
